Attenuation Data for Elvex Hearing ProtectionAll Elvex hearing protectors have been tested in accordance with ANSI S3.19-1974 by Michael & Associates, State College, Pennsylvania, a Certified attenuation testing laboratory (NVLAP Accreditation # 0427). The NRR data (used in the U.S.) is based on the test reports from these laboratories. NRR = Noise Reduction Rating (click here for formula).
SNR data reported is based on test reports performed by BIA, Berufsgenossenshaftlishes Institut für Arbeitssicherheit, in Sankt Augustin, Germany. Certified test laboratory, performing tests in accordance with current CE standard, EC-directive 89/686/EEC. SNR = Single Number Rating.
