Elvex ear muffs for mounting on safety helmets and safety caps are available in a wider selection of models and higher performance ratings than any other ear muffs from any manufacturer on the US market. Cap mount muffs are available with Noise Reduction Ratings (NRR) from 24 to 28 dB.

  • HM-**29 Fits Elvex SC-50, Jackson, MSA V-Guard, American All Safe, Sellstrom, Balance AC, JSP and Fibre Metal (with Elvex Quick Slot, QS-29).
  • HM-**30 Fits Elvex SC-50, MSA V-Guard Advance, North, Salisbury, and Arcon.
  • HM-**31 Fits Bullard and ERB.

Components for an integrated protective system:

Pictures below show:

  1. Visor Bracket, VB-10, carrier of a variety of face shields for use with safety helmets with a standard brim.
  2. Visor Bracket, VB-20, carrier for face shields for use with short brim safety helmets (such as MSA) or to provide extra space between the face shield and the face, in order to accommodate cartridge respirators.
  3. Visor Bracket, VB-30, looks similar to VB-20, but is designed to accommodate newer helmet designs with raised accessory slots or sloping brims. Elvex safety helmet models SC-30 works best with VB-30.
  4. Arm Bracket for cap mount muffs, BR-29/30/93. On BR-93 a removable slot filler makes if possible to fit one blade to most safety caps equipped with and accessory slot. BR-30, shown to the right fits many wider slots, such as Bullard, Willson, Jackson and North. Caution: some manufacturers have several different accessory slots. BR-29 fits MSA safety caps and other narrow slots, as well as Elvex Quick Slot, QS-29.
  5. Slot adapters are used when you want to mount face shields to a safety helmet w/o the use of ear muffs.
  6. Quick Slot, QS-29, creates and accessory slot on most safety caps and bump caps, that lack accessory slots.
