Elvex offers face shields for a variety of applications. Shields are available made from Polycarbonate, Lexan™ and Propionate, with a high level of impact resistance. Also available are hard coated shields for abrasion and chemicals as well as silver and gold coated shields for heat applications. Shields are also available to protect against Ultraviolet (UV) light as well as Infrared light, such as welding. Other specialty shields offered by Elvex are steel mesh and nylon mesh screens.

Unless otherwise noted, the hole pattern is "universal", meaning that it will fit all Elvex carriers as well as many competitive headgear. Lexan™ is a General Electric brand name for Polycarbonate.
