Hearing and Face Protection Combinations

When several safety products are required to be used simultaneously, users frequently find that different devices do not work well together. Elvex offers several products that have been designed to be worn together, and overcome these common difficulties.

Ulti-Mate™ headgear with wire mesh shield

When we combine our Ulti-Mate headgear (HG-25) with our steel mesh shield (SV-75), we have an ideal product for applications that require protection from debris, but allows air flow and ventilation. The steel screen is tested to comply with ANSI Z87.1, but is not high velocity impact rated. If this is required, use HG-25 in combination with one of our many Lexan or Polycarbonate shields. See:

High Performance Earmuffs with Face Shield

CoolGuard™, HB-3000

Elvex CoolGuard was designed with assembly and production line workers in mind. There are many environments where workers are exposed to both noise and flying debris, in either particle or liquid form. CoolGuard provides a lightweight alternative to the use of separate earmuff and headgear with face shield.

Observe that ANSI Z87 requires separate eye protection to be worn. Any face shield is considered strictly face protection.
