Elvex ProGuard safety caps offer the following features and benefits:

• The lightweight shell is made from tough Polyethylene.

• ProGuard is available with pin-lock and two different ratchet suspensions. The standard suspensions are made from flexible Polypropylene and have wide contact areas towards the head. This helps provide long term comfort and durability. A soft brow pad is standard. All models offer easy head size adjustments between 52 and 60 cm (6.5 – 7.75 inches).

• Model SC-30 comes with a standard pin-lock suspension.

• Model SC-30R is equipped with a ratchet suspension, allowing easy size adjustment by turning the adjustment knob, positioned at the back.

• Model SC-30R6 is equipped with our top of the line six point fabric harness and ratchet suspension.

• ProGuard caps have accessory slots (30 mm) that accept hearing and face protection products. Use Elvex blades designated with suffix 29 or 30 (such as SA-29 and HM-6029 or SA-30 and HM-6030).

• Elvex ProGuard helmets use the VB-30 Visor Bracket.

• Check out ear muffs and face shields that work with this safety helmet.

• Elvex ProGuard caps comply with ANSI Z89.1-1997, Type I, Class E. Type I caps are designed to protect against falling objects (top impact) and are not designed for side protection (lateral impact). Class E (Electrical) is intended to reduce the danger of exposure to high voltage. Tested to 20,000 Volts.

• Elvex ProGuard models are CE certified and comply with EN 397, CE 0086.
