Most enterprise AI today follows the same script: you type a question, you get an answer, and then you go do the actual work yourself. It's a glorified search engine with a personality. Useful, sure. Transformative? Not even close.

We've spent the last several months building toward something fundamentally different. Today we're releasing a set of capabilities that move elvex from "AI that advises" to "AI that executes." These aren't incremental improvements. They change how you interact with the platform entirely.

Join the webinar for a live walkthrough of these new features

Join us Wednesday, April 8th, at 9AM Pacific for a live walkthrough and Q&A session covering Context, Planning and Delegation, and Power Tools. We'll keep it short and sweet: only 30 minutes. If you can't make it, register anyways—we'll send the recording after. This webinar is primarily aimed at users of elvex, explaining these new features and how you can use them today.

Context: AI That Knows How Your Company Works

What is context? Context is everything that gets sent to the AI model in order to prompt a response—including the actual thing that you typed and the additional information your AI platform tacked on top.

Every time you open ChatGPT and re-explain your company's metrics definitions, your naming conventions, your team structure, and your preferred output format, you're paying a tax. A setup tax. And you pay it every single session.

Having a platform that provides relevant, good context to your prompts eliminates that tax.

What's new in this release: elvex now saves durable information about your role, your projects, your team, and your company. Not just facts, but how work gets done: your processes, your definitions, where truth lives. This means agents start with the right assumptions, use the right references, and produce outputs that match how your organization actually operates.

Store the specific field names and metric definitions your teams use across your CRM, ticketing system, finance tools, and docs. Nobody has to remember them or dig through dashboards and wikis. People just ask for what they need and the AI responds in the right internal language.

Because elvex can integrate with all your tools and software, and—with context—can store how you use those tools and software, the elvex chat window becomes a single spot to act on work, assisted by AI. Say goodbye to having dozens of tabs open all the time, or downloading things from one tool just to upload them to another.

We've also shipped Universal Search, accessible via the search bar or Command+K. It indexes and searches across all platform resources: agents, flows, data sources, and conversations. Say "Help me with the last thing I was working on related to finding AI leaders" and the system automatically searches relevant conversations and surfaces the right starting point. No more digging!

How do I get started? Watch this short video.

Planning and Delegation: Give It a Goal, Get Back Results

Two capabilities that work together to change how you use AI entirely.

Planning means elvex can now take a complex request, break it into a structured sequence of steps, and execute each one autonomously. You give it a goal. It builds the to-do list. It works through it. You watch, intervene if you want, or just come back when it's done.

Ask it to "find an organization going through AI transformation" and it won't just give you a surface-level answer. It will create a plan: define criteria, identify data sources, research companies, profile examples. You can review the plan before it runs, or let it go.

Delegation takes this further. The Home App now orchestrates across your agents, delegating work to multiple specialized sub-agents within the same conversation. It also improves your prompts for you before passing them along.

The result: you don't need to find the right agent. You don't need to craft the perfect prompt. You don't need to run five separate conversations and stitch together the results. Give it a goal in one chat window and AI handles the routing, the execution, and the synthesis. You can click into any delegated task to see real-time progress and the generated prompts.

The Home assistant can also create new agents on your behalf, guiding you through configuration with intelligent suggestions and handing off to the agent builder when you're ready to customize.

Power Tools: From Advice to Execution

Here's where most AI platforms stop: "How do I find duplicates in this spreadsheet?" And the AI gives you a tutorial. Step one, open Excel. Step two, use conditional formatting.

With Power Tools, you say "Find duplicates in this spreadsheet" and elvex writes Python code, executes it in a secure sandbox, and returns the answer: "Found 47 duplicate entries. Here's the cleaned dataset."

No technical knowledge required. Just plain English. elvex handles the rest.

What this unlocks:

  • Document creation: Generate Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and PDFs with professional styling
  • Data analysis: Clean messy data, merge multiple sources, detect outliers, run statistical analysis with deterministic accuracy
  • Spreadsheet automation: Build workbooks with formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and charts
  • Visualizations: Create interactive graphs and dashboards, then iterate on them in natural language
  • File conversions: Transform PDFs, images, audio, and video between formats

All code runs in an isolated, zero-network-access sandbox. Files never leave the platform, and sessions are ephemeral. This is execution-grade AI with enterprise-grade security.

Everything Else We Shipped

The three pillars above are the headline. But we've been busy across the entire platform.

New AI Models. New models from Claude, OpenAI and Microsoft Foundry are now available. elvex remains model-agnostic because the best model for the job changes constantly, and you shouldn't be locked into a single provider's roadmap.

Microsoft Teams Integration. elvex now works where your team already communicates.

Structured Output for Flows. Ensure data outputs from automation fit a specified format. Better inputs, better results, less cleanup.

Advanced Charts and Exporting. Customize data visualizations with control over aspect ratio, background, and export image size.

Agent Builder Improvements. A new "Help me build a new agent" option guides you through the creation process with intelligent suggestions. Getting started takes minutes, not meetings.

Shared Resource Notifications. Get notified when teammates share conversations, assistants, datasources, or flows with you.

Toggle Voice Mode. Toggle speech input with Cmd+D (Mac) or Ctrl+D (Windows). Faster switching between typing and speaking.

QR Code Generation. Generate QR codes directly within elvex for URLs, text, and other data.

What This All Adds Up To

The gap in enterprise AI has never been model capability. The models are incredible. The gap is everything around the model: the setup, the context, the orchestration, the integrations, the execution, the governance.

Every feature in this release targets that gap. Context removes setup friction. Planning and delegation remove the need for prompt expertise. Power Tools remove the boundary between "AI told me what to do" and "AI did it for me." And all of it runs on a platform with the security, permissions, and model flexibility that enterprise requires.

We're building toward a world where you open one interface, state what you need, and the platform handles the rest.
